Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to facilitate the alternation of specialist equipment testing area.

KPS stripped out all redundant fixtures and clear the area for adapting the space.  Construction of new walls, installation of curtain rails, supply and installation of a door set.  KPS installed glazing film, laid new flooring, put in new ceilings, applied whiteboard paint to walls and decoration works to rest of the room and all woodwork.

Westminster Magistrates Court

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to install a temporary chiller whilst the replacement of two existing chillers was undertaken at Westminister Magistrates Court

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to refresh all the washrooms on site at Winchester Law Court

Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to facilitate the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing toilets. The works were carried out over 6 floors and programmed over a number of weeks both in and out of hours. Each floor had to be handed over in advance of beginning a new floor. The works also consisted of converting existing area to make DDA compliant accessible toilets on each level.

Knightsbridge Property Services were asked to undertake the  barrier and gate programme for 2019 following the completion of the barrier and gate programme 2018 which was for the entire South East Area.

EDF Office Fit-out Project

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to facilitate the alteration of 4th floor office space, refurbishment of staff facilities.

Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services were successfully awarded a project to undertake an important job for one of it largest retail customers. The works consistent of fixing and stabilising internal fit out rafts across a number of floors within the Oxford Street flagship store.

  • Each raft made good and decorated

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to remove 150sqm of damaged render and install new plasterboard, tape and joining and decorating all within a 4 week timescale due to the building hosting upcoming EU Elections.

Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services are well experienced in bespoke joinery in historic buildings. In this case, the team were asked to undertake the design and installation of a new barrier and gate. These works were related to a number of Tribunal rooms. The design was undertaken outside normal working hours in close liaison with the HMCTS H&S advisor, with the full production being carried out off site in our joinery workshop.

 

  • To supply and install an infill barrier approximately 4.5m wide

  • A single gate in an oak veneer finish to match existing furniture

  • The barrier had a solid capping and the height was 900mm

Description of works:

After a major incident within the university, Knightsbridge Property Services were engaged to undertake a vast amount of fire damage repair works. The works had to be carried out whilst the University remained in full operation. The area was severely affected by the fire, with various cleans and wash downs required well in advance of the actual works beginning. A programme was set out with the University, which had key critical dates to meet for handing over those priority areas as the job progressed.

Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services were employed to facilitate the refurbishment of the site office.  The programme of works was critical.  This was discussed at various pre-start meetings, focused heavily on the day to day operations of the centre.  The KPS project team worked collaboratively with the client team in the planning, to give the project the best possible opportunity of completing on time and budget.

Knightsbridge Property Services were engaged to undertake the refurbishment of the main site office. The client had a desire to keep the centre operational which our site team supported. Our Project Manager and client programmed the works to be completed within 5 weeks.

  • Repairs to the kitchenette and fit out of new worktop counters

Uxbridge Magistrates Court

Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services were tasked with the replacement of the existing failed boiler plant to the above site.  The court had been without suitable heating for a long period as the existing boilers had failed and suitable parts were no longer available.

Sittingborne Library

Description of works:

Knightsbridge Property Services was called out to a clients’ site in relation to a health and safety concern. Our team were initially deployed and coned off the area, making it safe. An emergency quote was supplied and the team were on site within 48 hours, undertaking the long term solution works. These works involved lifting a large area of paving slabs and levelling off. The works also included digging out an existing drainage chamber cover and replacing with new.

 

  • Booked the works in with the client and set up barriers to the area.
  • Carried out uplifting of the slabs and put to one side to re-use.

  • Supplied new slabs for the ones that were broken.

  • Carried out levelling of sub base and re-laid slabs.

  • Broke out man hole cover and cleared all debris from inside the chamber.

  • Supplied and fitted new man hole cover.
