Health and Safety

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are given prime consideration in our operations and it is the policy of Knightsbridge Property Services to continually review and improve its performance in this area. Our business has a strong health and safety culture resulting in an excellent safety record. This reflects just how much time and effort we invest our staff and systems. Each of our employees has a legal obligation to take reasonable care of their own health and safety, and for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by their acts or omissions. Knightsbridge Property Services Ltd (KPS) have a first-class safety management system that meets the requirements of OHAS 18001:2007. KPS is committed to ensuring the minimum Health and Safety risk for our employees, our client’s employees and for members of the general public. As such, all of our Operational employees undertake a mandatory Health & Safety induction. All employees have a formal Personal Development Plan (PDP), which encompasses all aspects of further training required. This PDP is reviewed at annual appraisals, ensuring all employees have the relevant qualifications required for their role within the company. Knightsbridge Property Services operates a Quality Management System that has gained ISO 9001:2008 certification, including aspects specific to the Maintenance and projects services. Implementation of the Policy and Quality Management System is the responsibility of every member of staff, starting with the Managing Director, who takes policy decisions which enable the correct action to be implemented throughout the organisation. Knightsbridge Property Services operates an accredited and audited Environmental Management System to ISO14001:2004. The objective of Knightsbridge Property Services is to run its operations avoiding the unnecessary or unacceptable effects on the environment. Any effects will be minimised as far as practicable. Environmental considerations will be given equal importance to the more traditional business issues such as productivity, operations, sales and finance. We carry out regular audits and reviews of our management systems to ensure that all of our employees are fully up to date with the latest legislation changes and industry best practice.
