Overview
Project Overview
KPS tendered and procured a package of lifecycle works at Southwark Crown Court alongside ENGIE for the longstanding client, HMCTS.
The court had experienced issues relating to building cooling and hot water provision during the summer months, driven by historical maintenance issues and end-of-life equipment failure. KPS was appointed to replace key mechanical systems and improve resilience across the building.
Challenges
The Challenge
Court buildings are highly sensitive operational environments where disruption must be carefully controlled.
The works needed to address equipment failure and resilience issues while allowing court operations to continue. This required careful planning around programme, access, temporary services and integration with existing building systems.
