Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre Refurbishment
KPS completed the refurbishment of multiple accommodation wings and specialist segregation areas within the Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre on behalf of Mitie and the Home Office.
The project involved the full refurbishment of secure custodial accommodation across multiple floors,
Tollgate Primary School, Summer Structural Works
KPS partnered with the Boleyn School Trust for the third consecutive year to deliver summer works at Tollgate Primary School in East London.
The project focused on structural repairs to classroom flooring following a survey that identified timber rot, failed wall ties and health and safety concerns.
Southwark Crown Court, Summer Boilers Upgrade Project
KPS tendered and procured a package of lifecycle works at Southwark Crown Court alongside ENGIE for the longstanding client, HMCTS.
The court had experienced issues relating to building cooling and hot water provision during the summer months, driven by historical maintenance issues
Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Endoscopy Recovery Room Upgrade
KPS was appointed as principal contractor to deliver a change of use and upgrade project at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
The works involved converting a redundant clinical room into a four-bed endoscopy recovery room, requiring specialist coordination with medical gas,
APHA Veterinary Laboratories, Post Mortem Room Ramp Works
KPS was appointed to deliver external ramp upgrade works at the APHA Veterinary Laboratories in Shrewsbury, working with a long-standing government client.
The existing ramp system serving the post mortem laboratory area had become dilapidated and was no longer suitable for modern operational requirements.
30 St Mary Axe, The Gherkin Reception Joinery Upgrade
KPS, in partnership with CBRE, tendered and procured a reception joinery upgrade at 30 St Mary Axe, widely recognised as The Gherkin.
The existing reception desk elements had been in place since the original build in 2004. The new reception design, created by Foster & Partners, was developed
